Runescape-Unlocking Golrie From His Cell?

i want to get the pebble from him but i cant find they key to his cell. when i try to unlock he says "what are you doing down here. leave before you get yourself into trouble." and i cannot find the key in the lighter crates. i search them and it doesnt give me a key
