Trace My Roots?

My father who's adopted by a Chinese Liew family in KL, Malaysia born in 1924 now paway. He got a mix look (between Chinese and Caucasian) that left the family during World War II landed in Bangkok and finally in Singapore married to my mother. I wish to trace my root. What is my origin and family name.
