Is it cruel to break up with someone on Valentines day?

It would be pretty blatant to break up with him altough theoretically if ur not officially bf/gf then you cant really break up can you?? You should let him know that you need to talk to him and try to sort out the problem, find out what he wants and if its not the same as what you want then it might be time to move on.
