He may be attracted to you but its hard to say if he likes you, guys usually draw near the girl they like the most in a group and he may be more attracted to you between you and your friend but might find others more attractive than you, but if you really want to know just ask him I mean all he can say is no or yes don't take it personal there will always be other boys but it sounds like you have bigger things in your life other than boys
