How do you kill the Pentagon Thief before he takes your gun in COD: Black Ops?

Every time I play Zombies on Five, I always get so frustrated when the Pentagon thief steals my gun. Not only that but he is so hard to kill and I really want to get the achievement. Is there any way I can actually kill him? And also is there any way I can get a Ray gun with a glitch or something?
