My 20 month old son and 8 month old daughter have have been having runny noses for a couple days now?

it turns from clear to green and back again throughout the day. I started used humidifiers in their rooms last night that seemed to help them when they sleep. But now my son is coughing a little bit both of their noses are running like a faucet i have been giving them both tylenol or motrin. using saline nose drops then sucking out their noses. Is there anything else I can use medicine wise for my son? I know I can't really use anything for my daughter since she is not a year yet. I feel so bad for them they sound all sniffly and congested.
