Looking for the name of a movie. The book was really good.?

There is a book by Allan Folsom called The Day After Tomorrow. It was made into a movie but has a different title. There is a movie that has that title (The day after tomorrow) and stars Dennis Quaid but that is not what I'm hoping to find. This book and movie was about a mystery involving headless bodies and transplants.
