Im trying to get advice for a matter within my family! my other siblings have discussed this bizarre behavior

for anyone that teaches preschool or is a parent to a young child. what would you do if you saw a young child put a pacifier up their and like it? i saw my neice do this and it really bothered me! if she did this at school how would you react and what would be going through her head? thank you for serious answers!
